Since the beginning of the spread of COVID-19, Clinic For Group has made efforts to confront this pandemic, without escaping, and to fulfill our role as a primary care clinic for everyone.
We have been updating Line BOT for COVID-19 to deliver the correct information since this February.
In May 2020, Clinic For Tamachi clinic opened the fourth floor space as an “outpatient fever patient center”. It became the first clinic in Tokyo to be designated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to conduct PCR testing for COVID-19.
What we provide for patients
Clinic For Group conducts various tests for COVID-19, including PCR test , Antigen test, and Antibody test for COVID-19.

A. PCR test
Now, PCR test for COVID-19 is the standard method for diagnosis of COVID-19.

For International travelers
As of August 2020, many countries require COVID-19 PCR test and a medical certificate to prove the results before entering the country. Clinic For Group has been contacting the embassies in various countries directly to conduct PCR test and prepare English medical certificate to meet the necessary standard of each country. We have issued these certificates for more than 1,000 people traveling to Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, the United States, Austria and other countries. We have not received any report which has been denied the entry with our medical certificate.
Each country has its original rule about the PCR test and medical certificate.
・Standard timing: upon arrival, or upon boarding
・Allowable time: within 48 hours, within 72 hours, within 3 business days, or within 1 week
・Specimen collection method: nasopharyngeal mucus with a cotton swab, saliva, or not specified
・Required document: no specified format, specified format (e.g. Fit to Fly)
As far as we could reach, we have compiled every list of information required for the entry into each country. However, the situation changes daily, so please be sure to check the latest information by yourself. If you have any special requests, please let your doctor or nurse know when you visit our clinic. Also, your passport number is required and full spelling on the English medical report. Please bring your original passport or a photo of the page with your photo to confirm your passport number.
For Companies and other organizations
Many companies consider PCR test as an method to ensure the safety and security of their employees. Clinic For Group can provide “on-site PCR test” for 10 or more people. So far, we have conducted on-site PCR test for more than 100 companies and organizations.
We always try every effort to secure the capacity to conduct the PCR test ASAP. We can manage the request for up to several hundred people, so please feel free to contact us even if your company have a large number of people.
As of now, 40,000 yen costs per person to take PCR test at clinic. However, in the case of on-site PCR test requested by companies or organizations, the fee can be adjusted according to the number of people who will be examined. As for the quality and speed of the PCR test, we cooperate with the largest PCR testing company in Japan. The quality of the test meets the strict standards, and we have a speedy reporting system that allows our clients to report test results as early as the next evening even in a tight timeline.
